Zingy Marinated Spareribs

Real Mom Prep Time:  11 + 1 minutes

*Be sure to allow several hours marinating time! I like to make this the night before.*

2 lb   1 kg

pork spareribs

  Remove excess fat.
          Cut into serving-size pieces.
          Place in a single layer in a

 

   

 

  shallow glass baking dish.

onion, diced

  Sprinkle over ribs..

cloves garlic, minced

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

1/2 cup

  125 mL

water

  Combine in a bowl.
1/4 cup   50 mL

soy sauce or tamari

   

2 Tbsp

  25 mL

Worchestershire sauce

   

1 Tbsp

  15 mL

apple cider vinegar

   

1/2 tsp

  2 mL

ground ginger

   

1/2 tsp

  2 mL

dried thyme

   

 

   

pepper

   

2 Tbsp

  25 mL

vegetable oil

   

 

   

 

   
          Pour sauce over ribs.

 

   

 

  Cover. Refrigerate for at least

 

   

 

  several hours.

 

   

 

   
          Preheat oven to 350F/175C.
           
          Bake, covered, for 1 hour
          or until meat is tender.
