Pecan Burgers

Real Mom Prep Time:  15 minutes total!

1 cup   250 mL

pecans

  Blend in a blender until fine.
          Put in a large bowl.
     

 

   

1 cup

  250 mL

cold water

  Add to bowl.

1 cup

  250 mL

rolled oats

   

1 cup

  250 mL

crumbled tofu

   
1/2 tsp   2 mL

onion powder

   

 

   

salt

   

 

   

pepper

   

 

   

 

  Combine well.

 

   

 

  Add more oats or water if
     

 

  needed to make it all stick

 

   

 

  together.

 

   

 

   
          Grease a skillet. Heat to medium.

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

  Drop about 1/2 cup/125 mL

 

   

 

  at a time on the skillet.

 

   

 

  Brown both sides.

 

   

 

   
          Serve on burger buns with

 

   

 

  your favourite burger fixings!
