Baked Tofu

Real Mom Prep Time:   4 + 1 minutes

*Be sure to allow marinating time!*

4 Tbsp   50 mL

soy sauce or tamari

  Combine in a glass baking dish.
2 Tbsp   30 mL

dark sesame oil

   
2 Tbsp   30 mL

minced gingerroot

   
           
           
1 lb   500 g

extra-firm tofu

  Cut into slices about 1/2 inch/
          1 cm thick.
     

 

  Arrange in a single layer in

 

   

 

  the baking dish.

 

   

 

  Turn to coat both sides.

 

   

 

   
     

 

  Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

  Preheat oven to 375F/190C.
     

 

   

 

   

 

  Turn tofu over in marinade again.

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

  Bake for 20 minutes.
